Stormpaw sat in the clearing, her head cocked to the side. She was wondering what her life as a Medicine Cat Apprentice...and hopefully someday, a Medicine Cat. Stormpaw looked around for Fawncloud, wondering where her mentor was. She wanted to learn everything that there was to know about being a Medicine Cat Apprentice. Stormpaw yawned and stretched, flexing her claws and showing her light pink tongue and shimmering white fangs. It was too bad that she would never be able to use them...at least, probably never. What would a cat like her have to do with battle? She would never have to fight...would she? She certainly hoped not. Stormpaw looked once more for Fawncloud, wondering where on earth her mentor could be. She was ready to learn, ready to go! Stormpaw yawned again, stretching out once more.

Timberstar sat in the ThunderClan clearing, wondering if he would ever be able to start a new life, forget about his old life and move on. He doubted it. All that had happened to him, becoming leader and everything...it was not going to be easy at all. Besides, he remembered that he had once been able to love...would that happen again? Having responsibilites as leader was harder than he had ever imagined, especially because he had never been really able to mingle with other cats. He had been able to speak to them about important matters, but making sure that everything ran smoothly in the clan...and without his deputy, it wasn't easy...he had to take on all responsability for everything. Timberstar sighed, looking around at his clanmates. It hadn't been too long ago that he had been just a warrior himself, and then deputy and now...leader.
